Any photo works — sunsets, pets, people, food, concerts, landscapes, everyday moments. The AI analyzes the visual elements, colors, mood, and context to create a song that matches. More visually expressive photos tend to produce more interesting results.
Most songs are ready in 2 to 5 minutes. You can follow the progress in real-time through the Live Activity on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
Every photo generates two unique song versions with different styles, tempos, and vibes. This gives you more variety — you can keep your favorite or enjoy both.
Keywords are optional words or phrases you can add before generating a song — like a name, a feeling, a memory, or a musical style. They guide the AI to create a more personalized and accurate result. If you don't add any, the AI will interpret the photo on its own.
Yes. SnapSong lets you choose between standard and high-quality audio generation. Higher quality takes slightly longer but produces richer, more detailed sound.
Yes. Every generated song comes with full lyrics that you can read in the song detail screen.
Yes. You can share your songs using the standard iOS share sheet — send them via Messages, WhatsApp, email, AirDrop, or any other app.
SnapSong is free to download, but a subscription is required to generate songs. You can explore the app and see how it works before subscribing.
The SnapSong subscription gives you full access to song generation, high-quality audio, and all app features. Subscription options and pricing are shown in the app.
Yes, anytime. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
If you reinstall the app or switch devices, your subscription is automatically restored when you sign in with the same Apple ID. You can also tap "Restore Purchases" in the app settings.
Your photos are sent to AI services (OpenAI) for analysis and lyric generation, but they are not stored on any server. The original photo and the generated song are saved locally on your device only.
Generated audio and original photos are stored locally on your device. SnapSong does not sync to the cloud or require an account.
Yes. You can delete any song within the app at any time, which removes the generated audio and original photo from your device. Uninstalling the app removes all SnapSong data.

Yes. SnapSong includes Home Screen widgets that show your latest songs and current generation status, so you can stay updated without opening the app.
Song generation may occasionally fail due to network issues or high server demand. You can retry the generation from the song detail screen. Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
Generation time depends on server load and your internet connection. High-quality audio takes slightly longer. If it's been more than 10 minutes, try canceling and retrying.
